Congratulations to all of those children who made their First Holy Communion over the last two weeks. We had two fantastic services. What did you enjoy about your Holy Communion day?
This term we are studying the environment and how to ensure we look after it. Can you create a rap or poem to encourage people to look after our world? Use the example to give you some ideas. This example was written by the Lower Key Stage 2 teachers!
Our world is a gift – don’t be a litter bug,
Embrace our world, with a metaphorical hug!
Ensure you recycle and reuse what you can,
Respect our world- don’t go pollutin’ man!
Would you like to visit the magical world of Pandora? Explain your answer.
As we all know, the Year 6’s will be sitting their SATs tests next week. This is your opportunity to ask any maths or grammar questions which can be answered by myself (Miss Pepler) or your friends.
Miss Wortley and I are hugely proud of how hard you have all been working and how sensible and calm you have been in the run up to your SATs. Keep up the good work!!
P.S. Please remember to look at your revision sheets!!
On Tuesday 2nd May our Lower Key Stage 2 qualifiers took part in the Oxfordshire county gymnastics finals.
I am very happy to announce that our St Johns team came 3rd over-all and our three girls brought home bronze medals.
Well done to Aoife, Philippa and Summer for their hard work and dedication this year and to all the gymnasts for another successful year!
